Tom Jewell uses a spade to help clean out the small drain slots in one of the car wash bays at ZALO Kar Wash at Nichol and Madison Avenues Wednesday afternoon. Jewell and his son had purchased the car wash about a month ago and have been working on making improvements to the facility.
