E&B workers were putting down asphalt over the patched areas of last Thursday's water main break at Cross Street and Broadway late Monday afternoon. The city hopes the intersection, which has been closed since Thursday, will be open Monday night but Cross Street is closed at Crystal Street due to a water valve breakage.
