When Martin Luther nailed his "95 Theses" to the door of Wittenberg, Germany's Castle Church in protest of indulgences on October 15, 1517, he sparked the Protestant Reformation which spread throughout Europe; to commemorate the 500th anniversary of his momentous act, Gloria Gaither commissioned the construction of this replica of the Church door.
