Woodland, California-based Tower Investments, LLC, began demolition Monday
on 200,000 square feet of empty warehouse space at the former Guide Plant
9 on West 29th Street, city officials said. Located in Anderson's tax
increment financing district and part of a brownfield property. The parcel
is valued at $1.2 million, and clearing that section will help make the
property ready for future development, said Greg Winkler, interim economic
development director.
