Workers with Anderson Municipal Light & Power pay their respects to the funeral procession of Robert Earl Asbury Jr. on Saturday afternoon at Lapel Elementary School. The utility company provided 11 bucket trucks to allow workers to unfurl an American flag for the procession to pass under on its way to Brookside Cemetery. “It’s an honor guard,” foreman John Bivens said. “It’s just a way of showing honor and gratitude to our former employees that have passed away.”
