Berry Mabbitt, of Alexandria, takes advantage of warmer temperatures and calmer winds to get out for the first time and do some ice fishing at Shadyside Lake Thursday. Mabbitt was working three lines through the 7 inches of ice but wasn't having much luck getting bites at the time.
