Pendleton Log Cabin Project volunteer Jay Brown works to set this log beam Tuesday as he and others work on the reconstructing the last log cabin in Pendleton. The cabin, which was built in the 1830's, was located on Mill Road on the south side to town in a flood plain. The cabin was purchased and then donated to the Pendleton Parks Department where volunteers have dismantled it and are now reconstructing the structure at the north entrance to Falls Park.
