Larry Vanness, also known as the Canman, sits with 55,332 pop can tabs in his Anderson apartment while holding up his 8 and 9 millionth pop tabs. Vanness will have donated over 9 million pop can tabs to the Ronald McDonald house after he makes a delivery today (Thursday). "I'd like to thank all the people that has helped me," Vanness said, pointing out that he couldn't have done the work all by himself especially since he can't get around as well as he used to. "They collect them, I just count them." Those helpers include Anderson school children and recently the Best Western Plus that donated over 8,000 tabs during Vanness' stay at the hotel while his apartment was renovated.
