The swine and poultry shows highlighted activities on a sweltering second day at the Madison County 4-H Fair.

Alexandria Kiwanis member Kenny Summers tests out the misting fan he just installed on the 4-H grounds to check the amount of misting, and to cool off. The Kiwanis put up four misting fans around the fair grounds Monday to help people keep cool.
